Ensuring the energy resilience of Ukraine's industry in the context of Russian Federation's invasion and destruction of critical energy infrastructure requires creation of appropriate measures concerning identification and effective implementation of government support for energy supply to household consumers and industrial sector, including using alternative energy resources.
It is necessary to focus on resolving the issues of: exemption from carbon dioxide emissions tax for equipment that produces these emissions as a result of solid biofuel combustion; creation of biofuel exchange trading; simplification of permitting procedures for the implementation of projects originating functioning biofuel boiler houses; encouraging the use of biomass heating equipment by households; establishment of closer communication between solid biofuel producers and woodworking, furniture enterprises, and forestry enterprises.
