According to the Law "On Access to Public Information", the response to a request for information must be submitted not later than five working days from the date of receipt of the request. If the request requires the provision of a large amount of information or requires searching for information among a large amount of data, the time period for processing a request may be extended to 20 working days with justification for such extension.
In accordance with Article 23 of the Law "On Access to Public Information", the decisions, actions, or omissions of information administrators may be appealed to the administrator's manager, a higher authority, or a court.
Legal appeals against decisions, actions, or inactivity of information administrators are carried out in accordance with the Code of Administrative Proceedings of Ukraine.
